#57. Literary Salvation

I went to Guam with an empty suitcase intending to pick up a longboard and tons of cool surf gear. Unfortunately there was a Salvation Army thrift store near my hotel. Kid's picture books are crazy expensive in Japan so I jumped at the chance to get a bunch of books by Eric Carle (The Very Hungry Caterpillar), and Dr. Seuss at five for a dollar. Unfortunately I

couldn't resist buying all of their books (literally) which left me no room for other shopping--it also left me 17kg over my weight allowance. Fortunately, the airport staff recognized my good deed and let it fly.
