Teaching EFL is always illuminating as English is usually just one of many hobbies. Japanese housewives are particularly fond of foreign dance styles such as flamenco, hula, and of course belly dance as they match their schedules and are something they can continue late into pregnancy and resume soon after. Being the dutiful teacher I am, I checked out my student's belly dance performance yesterday. Very impressive.
